Stop Needless Idling Campaign

The Calgary Region Airshed Zone is joining forces with all the Airsheds in Alberta to launch a “Stop Needless Idling” campaign from January 11th to March 15th, 2021.

Research shows that reducing the idling time of a vehicle to 60 seconds or less reduces negative impacts on air quality and the environment and saves time & money!

We are asking everyone to help us create an awareness of needless idling and sign our pledge:

60 Seconds Or Less Is Best

I pledge to idle my vehicle for no more than 60 seconds when parked.
