Registrations now open for the City of Calgary’s Branching Out Program
Trees are an intrinsic part to the quality of life in Calgary. They provide a myriad of environmental benefits. They also contribute to positive mental wellbeing and help us connect with our communities. The City of Calgary is working to grow and expand our tree canopy coverage. You can help by planting a tree on your property.
Trees are provided through the Branching Out program at no cost by the City of Calgary. This year the City has 5000 trees to provide but this program is extremely popular. Trees are provided on a first come, first served basis when you register and will likely go very quickly once registration opens. Registrations open throughout April based on quadrants of the City.
